FEATURES

CONSTRUCTION

Rugged blue and gray (standard colors) .140” thick, injection-molded thermoplastic (large back housing is .187” thick, compression-molded composite). Vertical orientation – designed especially for pole or column mounting. Also suitable for wall, I-beam and unistrut mounting. Pendant mounting with optional equipment. Quick-Mount® installation with one galvanized, 12-gauge steel mounting bracket shipped standard. Conduit entry points are located on top and both sides of the unit. Maintenance is made easy by tool-less re-lamp, single tool entry, hinging front cover, printed circuit board mounting shelf and battery belt.

Full range of lamp options are available from 9W to 20W in either incandescent or halogen composite versions. Composite halogen lamps feature unique field adjustable beam spread by simply turning the lamp bezel. Standard lamp is 9W incandescent. U.S. Patent No. D419,097 , 6,135,624 and 6,193,395. BATTERY

Batteries are sealed, maintenance-free, lead-calcium with wattage capacities ranging from 100 to 450W for 90 minutes of emergency operation. Also available in 6 and 12V versions. HA option (High ambient - UL listed to 68oF - 131oF ) provides sealed, maintenance free lead-calcium batteries for IND24300.

Low-voltage disconnect prevents excessively deep discharge that can permanently damage the battery.

ELECTRONICS

AC/LVD reset allows battery connection before AC power is initially applied and prevents battery damage from deep discharge. Brownout protection. Current limiting charger maximizes battery life and minimizes energy consumption. Thermal protection senses circuitry temperature and adjust charge current to prevent overheating and charger failure. Thermal compensation adjusts charger output to provide optimum charge voltage relative to ambient temperature.

DIAGNOSTICS (SD option)

Single multi-chromatic LED indicator to display two-state charging, test activation and three-state diagnostic status.

Test switch provides manual activation of 30-second diagnostic testing for on demand visual inspection.

Self-diagnostic testing for five minutes every 30 days and 30 minutes every six

months.

Diagnostic evaluation of lamp, AC to DC transfer, charging and battery condition. Continuously monitors AC functionality. Postpone automatic test initiates eight hour delay of an automatic test by activating

the manual test switch.
