The GTD™ Generator Transfer Device and GTD20™ Switch Bypass Device offer energy-saving technology for generator- or central inverter system-supplied emergency lighting. The GTD works with an auxiliary generator or central inverter system to power fluorescent emergency lighting regardless of local light switch position (on/off). The device senses the loss of normal power, bypasses the wall switch and supplies generator power directly to the AC ballast.
